Helium recovery and pressurization device

Helium is a rare gas with high extraction and purchase costs. Due to the large volume of helium balloons, the amount of helium used is also relatively large, and it is wasteful to discard it directly after use. In this case, secondary helium recycling can be carried out. Below, the editor will provide a simple plan for helium balloon recycling.

Taking a 6-meter diameter helium balloon as an example, filling the sphere with one atmosphere of helium requires 85 cubic meters of helium gas, which is equivalent to the cost of more than ten bottles of 40L helium gas. At this point, it is necessary to recycle and reuse it, which can be done using the Fuente helium gas recovery system. Fuente helium gas recovery can be divided into high and low pressure recovery inside the steel cylinder, and the recovery pressure can be selected according to the size of the balloon (the larger the balloon, the more helium gas it contains, which is suitable for fast low-pressure recovery). The recovery of helium gas from large balloons can be achieved by using Fuente ZTA02 in parallel with ZTD10. The following are the parameters; ZTA02 paired with ZTD10 can recover helium gas with a cylinder pressure of 8MPA and a recovery flow rate of 372L/min. Larger flow rates can be connected in parallel, and on-site requirements require compressed air at 6-8 bar as the power source. The ZTT25 system can be used to directly recover small volume helium gas to a pressure of 13MPA inside the steel cylinder. The advantage of the Fuente gas recovery system is that the recovered gas source maintains its original purity and is not contaminated. It uses compressed air as a power source and can be used in various explosion-proof situations without electric sparks.
