Pneumatic air booster pumps have been widely used in major factories in recent years. Their advantages include no need to modify gas pipelines, no need to endure noise pollution from high-pressure air compressors, pneumatic spark free applications in various explosion-proof places, low investment and quick results, easy to move, and simple maintenance. But why do some customers frequently start their pneumatic air booster pumps? Is there any good way to solve it? Below, the editor will give you a simple plan.
The reason why the pneumatic air booster pump is frequently started is because the working principle of the booster pump itself is pressure differential control. When the pressure of the air booster pump reaches the upper line, it will stop, and when the pressure is lower than the upper line, it will start. To prevent it from starting frequently at this point, you can try the following methods.
1: By utilizing the sensitivity of the reaction, the friction between the piston and the cylinder will affect a certain sensitivity. For example, in a 2x compressed air booster pump, the pressure after 8 kg intake boost is 16 kg. Because the friction force between the pistons is lower than 16 kg, the pressure may not necessarily start. In this case, it is possible to consider adding a pre stored air source in an air storage tank to reduce its frequent starting (for equipment with low air consumption).
2: High stop and low start, buy a compressed air booster pump with a pressure higher than the usage pressure, store the high pressure in the air storage tank and use it to reduce pressure through a pressure reducing valve. Connect a pressure sensor to the air storage tank to control the start and stop of the compressed air booster pump. For example, if the compressed air booster pump is doubled, the pressure after 8 kilograms of intake is increased to 16 kilograms. Set the starting pressure to 10 kilograms and the stopping pressure to 16 kilograms through the pressure sensor. At this time, when the pressure in the air storage tank drops to 10 kilograms, the compressed air booster pump will start, and stopping at 16 kilograms greatly extends its stopping time.
The compressed air booster pump should be configured according to the actual situation of the factory and the on-site working conditions, which will reduce many troubles such as unstable air pressure, insufficient flow, and other situations.
